Screen any name, from your own systems

Send what you hold on a customer, supplier or counterparty. Get back the closest sanctions, PEP, debarment and enforcement records, each with a score, the reason it matched and the source it came from, ready to log in your case file.

  • Matching and search. Score a person, company, organization or vessel against a whole collection, or run a full-text search with filters.
  • Sanctions, PEP, debarment and crime data. One record per listing, credited to its publisher, with the date it was last loaded.

What the API does

The API is the same service behind our Screening and Search pages. It is read-only and answers in JSON.

POST /api/match/<collection>

Entity matching

Send a name with whatever else you hold: date of birth, nationality or country, an IMO number for vessels. Each result carries a score from 0 to 1, a match flag and a feature-by-feature explanation. Up to 20 queries per request. Query bodies are not stored.

GET /api/search/<collection>

Full-text search across names and aliases, filtered by entity type, list type, nationality, programme or source, with facet counts from /api/facets to build filter menus.

GET /api/entity

Full records

Fetch a single record with its source, programme, dates and the related records from other registers that describe the same person or company.

GET POST /api/reconcile/<collection>

Try a match

This box calls /api/match/default live. Enter a full name; add a birth year to see the score change.

Runs against the public endpoint; nothing is stored.

Collections you can screen against

Each endpoint takes a collection name. Pick the narrowest one that answers your question; default covers them all.

Access and pricing

Today the public endpoints are open and read-only, with no key. Rate limits and volume caps may apply to automated or systematic use under our terms of use. Production screening in a business process needs a licence.
