Documentation
Put the data to work: screen names through the API, load the bulk files, read the data model and run screening in production. Start below or use the menu.
Where to start
Screen names with the APISend your first match request and read the scored results in a few minutes.Download the bulk dataFull collection files in six formats, with checksums and a build index.Understand what is in the dataRecords, registers, merged entities, topics and programmes explained.Look up an endpointEvery route, parameter and response field, with cURL, Python and Node samples.
Integrate screening with the API
The data service answers three kinds of question: does this party resemble anyone on a list (matching), what do you hold about this record (entities), and which records contain these words (search).
- Getting started with the APIWhat the API does, how access works today, and where each guide fits.
- The matching APIBuild a screening process on scored, explained matches.
- The entities APIFetch a record, its listings and every register that names the same party.
- The search APIKeyword look-ups and filters for user interfaces and research.
- Matching algorithmsThe scoring methods, their features, effects and constants.
- OpenAPI descriptionMachine-readable description of every endpoint (OpenAPI 3).
Work with the bulk data
- Using the bulk dataWhere the files live, which format to choose and how to check a download.
- Data formatsFollowTheMoney JSON, simplified CSV, plain names, Senzing and statements.
- Keeping data freshPoll the build index and replace files when the version changes.
- Delta filesApply additions, changes and removals since the previous build.
- SenzingLoad the collections into Senzing entity resolution.
- On-premise deploymentScreen against a copy of the data held on your own infrastructure, kept current from the bulk files.
Understand the data
- Understanding the dataHow official lists become records, and how records become entities.
- Entity structureTypes, properties and how a record is laid out.
- Identifiers and deduplicationRecord IDs, merged entity IDs and how they change.
- Data enrichmentWhat our registry estate adds, and what it does not yet link.

- Sanctions programmesThe legal programmes behind each listing.
- Politically exposed personsPEP coverage, definitions and use.
- SecuritiesIssuers and instruments linked to restricted parties.
Run screening in production
- Building a monitoring workflowRe-screen a customer book as the lists change, with the API or delta files.
- Tuning the matcherThreshold, scoring method, filters and the inputs that cut false alerts.
- On-premise deploymentKeep screening queries inside your own network.
- Change policyHow and when the data model and identifiers change.
