#10Ships banned under port-state control typed as vessels
Records with an IMO number and no personal details, such as ships banned or detained under port-state control, are now typed as Vessel rather than left untyped. Filters on entity type will return them as vessels from this build on.
#9Entity matching API with explained scores
POST /api/match/<collection>scores a person, company or vessel against one collection using name, birth date, nationality, IMO number and entity type, and returns each feature's contribution with a plain explanation./api/reconcile/<collection>serves the same matching to OpenRefine, and/api/search/<collection>searches within one collection. See the API reference.#8Delta files and per-build statistics
Each build records what was added, changed or removed since the previous build. From the second build on, a collection publishes
delta.jsonwith oneADD,MODorDELoperation per line, andstatistics.jsonwith the figures for that build. See build statistics.#7Six download formats for every collection
Every collection is now published as six files:
entities.ftm.json(FollowTheMoney entities),senzing.json(Senzing records),statements.csv(one row per property value),targets.nested.json,targets.simple.csvandnames.txt. A build index, index.json, lists each file with its size, row count and SHA-256 checksum. See using the data and downloads.#6Search facets and filters
The data service gained a facets endpoint (
/api/facets) that counts the records behind a search by list type, entity type, nationality, source and programme, and search accepts the same filters. Records now return fuller detail, and each source has an overview.#5Browse by entity type and country without a name
Search can list records by entity type and country with no name entered, for example every vessel, or every company listed in one country.
#4Records name their full register, publisher, country and licence
Every record is now linked to the full name of the register it came from, so each source shows its publisher, country and licence position. See licence positions.
#3Collection pages for five collections
New pages for Crown Default, politically exposed persons, consolidated sanctions, maritime and debarment and enforcement. Each shows the collection's figures, entity types, countries, sources and downloads.
#2Every source register can be read; per-source downloads restored
Each register in the source list opens on its own source page, and per-source downloads are available again from that page.
#1Search and screening ignore capital letters
Name search (
/api/search) and screening (/api/screen) now match a name however it is capitalised. A query for jane example finds records published as JANE EXAMPLE or Jane Example.
