Specialised coverage

Risk rarely sits in one list. A sanctioned company owns a vessel; a politically exposed person sits on a state company's board; a debarred supplier shares an address with a new one. These guides explain how we cover the areas where a plain list is not enough, and where our coverage stops.

Coverage guides

By country

Crypto-asset sanctions

Some sanctions authorities, OFAC most prominently, list digital-currency addresses with the people and companies they designate. We collect those records, but we do not yet extract the addresses as structured data: where a publisher gives them, they remain in the record's notes text. You cannot yet search or screen by wallet address, and our files have no wallet entity.

To find them today, search the notes in the bulk files, for example:

grep -i "Digital Currency Address" entities.ftm.json

Adverse media

We collect official, published decisions: sanctions designations, debarments, regulatory enforcement actions, court and tax-warrant registers, and wanted lists. We do not collect news reporting, allegations or investigative journalism, and we do not assess a person's reputation. A clean result from us says nothing about press coverage.

If you need news-based screening, combine our data with a dedicated adverse-media provider.

To be provided: whether to name adverse-media providers here, and which.
