Collection pages, and a publisher on every record

Published By Crown Intelligence team

Five collections now have their own pages, and every record names the full register it came from, with publisher, country and licence position. A short tour of what changed and why it matters for anyone who has to verify a match.

Five collections, one layout#

Our data is grouped into collections by purpose. Each now has a page with the same layout: the collection's figures and as-of date, its entity types and countries, the sources it draws on, and its downloads.

Where each record came from#

Every record is now linked to the full name of the register it came from, so each source shows its publisher, its country and our licence position for it. That matters because the publisher's record is the authority: before acting on a match, verify it at the source, and the link to do so is on the record.

Browsing without a name#

Search can now list records by entity type and country with no name entered, which makes it easier to see what a collection actually holds for one country.
